To purchase tickets, you can purchase them online or visit the museum gift shop and purchase them there. The tour lasted approximately thirty minutes. We spent about two hours here walking through the grounds and museum. The tour was of the main house only, you are able to walk through the museum/library and the rest of the grounds yourself. The grounds include the main house, two side houses, a library/museum, a huge garden area, a confederate cemetery, and many walking paths throughout the grounds. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very gregarious.

The house is original but the two side houses were destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. We arrived just in time for the guided tour of the house and grounds and we were very glad that we did. This place is a beautiful piece of history.
